The explosion of technology serves the sole purpose of bringing about the end-time scenario for Christ’s second coming to the nation of Israel. It helps set the stage as the prophetic program resumes after the Church is taken out, with Israel restored, the Temple rebuilt, and the revived Roman Empire in place.
Les explains that when the Church is complete and taken out of the way in the Rapture, the prophetic program will go right on and be completed. He compares this to sliding two bumps together: once the Church is out of the way, the prophetic program continues.
