Who does Daniel see coming with the clouds of heaven to the Ancient of days?
Daniel sees one like the Son of Man, capitalized, coming with the clouds of heaven to the Ancient of days. He comes before the Ancient of days, whose garment was white as snow, and is brought near before Him.
In Daniel chapter 7, Daniel first describes the Ancient of days seated on a throne, with garment white as snow, hair like pure wool, and a fiery stream before Him. Then in verse 13, Daniel sees in the night visions one like the Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven. He comes to the Ancient of days and is brought near before Him. Les explains this portrays God the Son coming before God the Father on the supreme area of the throne, the same one introduced in verse 9.
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
