Who actually revealed the gospel to the Apostle Paul—the Holy Spirit or Jesus?
The Lord Jesus Himself appeared to the Apostle Paul and revealed the gospel to him. The Holy Spirit was instrumental in that revelation, but it was the Lord Jesus who was speaking. Scripture presents the risen Christ as the revealer, not the Holy Spirit as the primary source.
Les teaches that while the Scriptures are Holy Spirit inspired, Paul specifically said the Lord Jesus Himself appeared unto him and revealed these things. The Holy Spirit was instrumental, but it was the Lord Jesus who was speaking it. Les also compares this to the book of Revelation, where the ascended Lord reveals to John things previously unknown. This supports the claim that no further revelation comes beyond what is finished in Scripture, and that Christ is the one who spoke in these last days.
