How many days are there from the taking away of the daily sacrifice to the setting up of the abomination of desolation?
There are 1,290 days from the removal of the daily sacrifice to the setting up of the abomination of desolation. This period begins at the midpoint of the Tribulation, when the Antichrist defiles the Temple and turns against Israel with great persecution.
Les explains that the daily sacrifice is taken away at the midpoint of the Tribulation, at the end of the first 3.5 years. At that time the Antichrist will go into the Temple, defile it, and turn on the nation of Israel like they have never been persecuted before. From that point until the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days. He notes this is a different number, and one must be a student of Scripture to realize this.
And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
