When is the daily sacrifice taken away in Daniel 12:11?

According to Daniel 12:11, the daily sacrifice is taken away at the midpoint of the Tribulation, at the end of the first 3.5 years, when the Antichrist enters the Temple, defiles it, and turns on Israel with unprecedented persecution. This occurs before the 1,290 days mentioned in the verse.

Les teaches that Daniel 12:11 places the removal of the daily sacrifice at the midpoint of the Tribulation, at the end of the first 3.5 years. At that time the Antichrist will go into the Temple, defile it, and turn on the nation of Israel like they have never been persecuted before. From the taking away of that sacrifice, the abomination that makes desolate is set up, and there shall be 1,290 days. Les notes that this is a different number than the 1,260 days often associated with the first half, and that understanding it requires being a student of Scripture.

Daniel 12:11

And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
