Why does Satan want to get rid of the Jewish nation?
Satan seeks to destroy the Jewish nation to thwart God’s redemptive program. God promised Abraham that through his separated people would come a Redeemer for the whole human race. Since all prophecy rests on Israel, eliminating the Jews would prevent God from fulfilling His prophecies.
Les explains that as soon as God announced to Abraham that He would bring out a separated people and that through this people would come a Redeemer of the whole human race, Satan immediately put everything in high gear to thwart God’s program. History shows Satan constantly fighting God’s dealing with the nation of Israel—in their unbelief and in attacks from the Gentile world. Even today, the whole world votes against the little nation of Israel, trying to push them tighter and tighter into a smaller area of Jerusalem. That is the Satanic ploy to get rid of the nation of Israel. If Satan can succeed in getting rid of the Jew and the nation of Israel, then God cannot perform His prophecies, because all the prophecies rest on Israel.
