How was the Abrahamic covenant's promise that all families would be blessed fulfilled?

The Abrahamic covenant's promise that all families would be blessed was fulfilled by Israel's Messiah being crucified and becoming the object of faith for the whole world, not just Israel. Through Christ's death according to God's predetermined counsel, redemption was brought to all humanity.

Les teaches that God's original intention was for Israel to be His vehicle to go out and reach the Gentiles, but Israel had been blinded to that true role and rejected it in unbelief, even fighting the apostle as he tried to go to the Gentiles. In the last statement of the Abrahamic covenant, God said to Abraham, "And in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed." Les explains that this would come about by their Messiah being crucified and becoming the object of faith, not just of Israel but of the whole world. Today the Gospel of God's saving grace is proclaimed: Christ died according to the predeterminate counsel of God, fulfilling His purposes and bringing about the plan of redemption for the whole human race.
