How was the promise that all nations would be blessed through Abraham fulfilled?
The promise was fulfilled through Abraham's Messiah. When Christ came and finished the work of the cross, He became a blessing out of Abraham's line, but a blessing for the whole human race. Gentiles were grafted in, so all nations receive that promised blessing.
Les teaches that one promise remains secure: through the man Abraham, all the nations of the earth would receive a blessing. That came about with their Messiah. When Christ came and finished the work of the cross, He became a blessing out of the line of Abraham, but a blessing for the whole human race. Les also explains from Romans chapter 11 that God broke off the branches of natural Israel and grafted in the Gentiles, so the blessing promised through Abraham reaches the nations.
