Where did the Japanese subway poison-gas cult's guru find enlightenment?

The guru of the Japanese subway poison-gas cult went to the Himalayas for his so-called enlightenment. There a Buddhist guru supposedly gave him that enlightenment, and he returned to Japan to begin the cult. This illustrates how false religions trace back to the tower of Babel.

Les explains that the Japanese cult responsible for the subway poison-gas attack had a guru who sought his so-called enlightenment in the Himalayas. There he found a Buddhist guru who supposedly gave him that enlightenment, and he then returned to Japan and began the cult. Les uses this to show that when you trace through Buddhism and other Eastern religions, their roots go back to the tower of Babel. He teaches that every pagan, mythological, cultic, and false religion on the planet has its roots at Babel. After God scattered the people there, Babel became a picture of confusion. Les then notes that about 200 years later God sovereignly called Abram and brought about the nation of Israel.
