Where was Saul heading as a religious fanatic?

Saul, as a religious fanatic, was heading toward the great white throne judgment, where he would hear those words: 'Depart from me, you religious fanatic. I never knew you.' He was piling guilt upon guilt every day, and that was his destination.

Les teaches that Saul, the religious fanatic, was no different from those in the flesh. Every day of his life he was piling guilt upon guilt, heading for the day when he would leave this life and come before the great white throne. There he would hear, 'Depart from me, you religious fanatic. I never knew you.' That's where he was headed. Old Adam had kept him blind to the reality of the law's true purpose, which was to convict him, for the law does nothing but give the knowledge of sin. That's where it finally came even with Saul. The law, the Ten Commandments, is holy, and the commandment is holy, just, and good. Was then that which is good made death unto him? God forbid.

Romans 7:5

For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
