Was more of God's harvest brought in during the Old Testament or the Church Age?

The Church Age brought in more of God's harvest. During the Old Testament economy, Israel never exceeded about 10 million people and only a few were true believers; before the Flood only eight souls were counted. By contrast, millions came in through roughly 1,900 years of the Gospel of Grace.

Les explains that the wheat farmer harvesting the main part of his fields can fill bins with thousands of bushels, while the corners left for gleaning are only a small fraction. Bringing that into the spiritual realm, Christ the firstfruits is accomplished, and the largest number of people brought into God's harvest is in the Church Age. In the Old Testament economy, the little nation of Israel never had more than probably 10 million people, and only a few were true believers. Before the Flood there were precious few believers, only eight souls at the Flood. Throughout Israel's history very few Jews percentage-wise were believers. Even after Christ's three-year earthly ministry, only 120 Jewish believers were in the upper room in Acts chapter 1 in the Jerusalem and Judea area. Compared to the millions that came in through the last 1900 years of preaching the Gospel of Grace, the Church Age is the greater harvest.
