How does Les compare the church age's harvest of souls with the harvest of tribulation saints?
The church age is depicted as God's main harvest, while tribulation saints are merely the gleanings and the harvesting of the corners. The 144,000 will still see a great harvest of souls under horrible circumstances, with multitudes from every tongue, tribe, and nation believing.
Les disagrees with Tim LaHaye's suggestion that the 144,000 might see more converts during the tribulation than the church age has in 2,000 years. He begins by saying the church age is still God's harvest, the main harvest, as depicted in Israel's history, whereas the tribulation saints are merely the gleanings and the harvesting of the corners. Even so, Les affirms that the 144,000 will supernaturally, sort of, redeem Israel from what they missed 2,000 years ago, and they will see a great harvest of souls under horrible circumstances. Scripture says multitudes from every tongue, tribe, and nation will hear the message of the 144,000. Les also notes he does not know whether the awful circumstances will make people more ready to believe.
