Les Feldick Bible Study

When are believing Jews and lost Jews resurrected?

Believing Jews are resurrected first. Lost Jews are resurrected a thousand years later for the Great White Throne judgment. This distinguishes the two resurrections; Daniel's language of a general resurrection must be compared with Revelation and John chapter 5, which show the thousand-year separation.

Les teaches that Daniel, by inspiration, writes almost as if there will be a general resurrection, with the lost Jew resurrected at the same time as the saved Jew. However, Les says this must be compared with Revelation, and that is not going to be the case. Only the believing Jews are resurrected first, and then a thousand years later the lost Jews are resurrected for the Great White Throne, just like the comparison with John chapter 5. He also notes that in the Old Testament economy, the wise were those who believed what God had instructed them to believe, because it was based on their faith.
