What did God's predetermined plan of the ages say would happen to Christ?

God's predetermined plan of the ages declared that Christ must suffer, be crucified and slain by Israel, and die; it also declared that He would be risen from the dead. This was no surprise to God but was the highlight of His eternal blueprint, centered on the cross.

Les teaches that in the determinate plan God laid out before anything was created, the highlight of it all was the cross. In God's predeterminate counsel, Israel took Christ and crucified and slain Him, but God was not caught by surprise. It was all in the eternal plan of the ages that Christ must suffer, and all the way through the Scriptures this was God's blueprint for the ages. Les then connects it to 1 Corinthians 15: according to this predetermined plan of the ages, Christ would suffer and die, but He would also be risen from the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:20

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
