How is Paul's salvation on the road to Damascus related to Israel's future salvation?

Paul’s Damascus road salvation foreshadows Israel’s future salvation. He was saved miraculously 2,000 years early, like one born prematurely before the nation’s due date. Likewise, Israel—not all, but a remnant—will yet be saved, will experience resurrection power, see their resurrected Messiah and King, and believe in a moment.

Les explains that God’s timetable places the birth of the nation at the end of the Tribulation, at the Second Coming. Paul, however, was already saved 2,000 years earlier. Paul calls himself like a preemie, delivered prematurely. The concept is that as he was saved in a moment on the road to Damascus, miraculously, so also the nation of Israel will yet be saved—not 100%, but the remnant. Paul was like one born before the due date of Israel’s salvation. Israel too will one day experience that same resurrection power; they will see their resurrected Lord, Messiah, and King coming in the clouds of glory, and then they will believe in a moment. That is what Paul means by being born out of, or before, the due time.

1 Corinthians 15:8

And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
