How is Paul's conversion on the road to Damascus like Israel's future salvation?

Paul's Damascus road conversion was a premature picture of Israel's future salvation. He was saved miraculously in a moment 2,000 years early, like one born before due date. Israel as a remnant will later be saved similarly, experiencing resurrection power and believing when they see their Messiah coming in glory.

Les teaches that Paul's conversion on the road to Damascus serves as a pattern of Israel's future salvation. God's timetable places the birth of the nation at the end of the Tribulation, at the Second Coming of Christ, but Paul was already saved 2,000 years earlier. Paul described himself as a preemie, delivered prematurely, like one born before the due date of Israel's salvation. Just as he was saved miraculously and in a moment on that road, so also the nation of Israel will yet be saved—not 100 percent, but the remnant. They too will one day experience that same resurrection power; they will see their resurrected Lord and Messiah and King coming in the clouds of glory, and then they will believe in a moment. That is what Paul means by being born out of, or before, the due time.
