Do most believers understand the glory that the Body of Christ will enjoy in eternity?
No, most believers do not understand the glory that the Body of Christ will enjoy in eternity. Only a few believers have any concept of it. In eternity, the Body of Christ will be a heavenly people, distinct from Israel, and will rule and reign with places of responsibility in God's recreated universe.
Les explains that few believers have any concept of the glory the Body of Christ is going to enjoy in eternity. He says that in eternity it will be a whole new ballgame. The universe will be brought back to its origin and recreated more glorious than ever, because everything has been tainted by the devil, and God will create it all new. When believers enter that eternal state as members of the Body of Christ, they are not part of Israel, which will enjoy its earthly domain on the new earth, but they are a heavenly people. Les teaches that they will rule and reign in the whole new universe God brings about and will have places of responsibility there. In the eternal state, there is no time and distance means nothing.
