Is being baptized into the Body of Christ only for the most spiritual or those with an emotional experience?

No. Being baptized into the Body of Christ is not limited to the most spiritual or to those who have had an emotional upheaval. By the Holy Spirit, every true believer—regardless of location or the greatness of their experience—is placed into the Body of Christ and is a member of it.

Les teaches from Ephesians 2 that the Body of Christ is a Pauline term and revelation, not found in the Gospels or used by Peter. He compares it to a human body: one body with many members, all controlled from the head. Christ is the Head in Heaven, and believers are members of that one body, with their citizenship where the Head is. Then verse 13 says, "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body." Les emphasizes that this is not just for the most spiritual, nor only for those who have had some kind of emotional upheaval. Every true believer, regardless of where he is or how great an experience he has had, is a member of the Body of Christ, because the Holy Spirit has baptized him into it.

1 Corinthians 12:13

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Is the baptism of the Holy Spirit only for the most spiritual or elite believers?

The Spirit baptism into the one body is given to every believer, not just to the most elite or most spiritual believers—that exclusionary idea is a human idea, not God's.
