How was Paul saved?

Paul was saved when God struck him off his horse on the road to Damascus. God did not send him back to Jerusalem to check in with the Twelve or become part of their ministry. Instead, He separated Paul, sent him into the desert, and revealed the doctrines to him.

Les explains that Paul's salvation was a dramatic intervention by God on the Damascus road. God zapped him off his horse and saved him, but did not send him back to Jerusalem to align with the Twelve. Instead, God separated him totally from the Twelve, sent him into the back side of the desert, and revealed the doctrines to him. Paul later visited Peter for 14 days, but saw none of the other apostles, and immediately began his ministry among the Gentiles, going west across Asia Minor and into Greece. Paul delivered what he received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, for all people—Jews, Corinthians, Americans, Europeans, and the Orient.
