Who was Paul before God saved him by grace?

Before God saved him by grace, Paul was a rebel trying to stamp out every instance of the name of Jesus of Nazareth. He was the leader of sinners, the head of the line, and the first to be saved by such grace.

Les teaches from 1 Timothy, verse 15 that Paul called himself the leader of sinners, the head of the line, and the first to be saved by such grace. Before salvation, Paul was a rebel who was trying to stamp out every instance of the name of Jesus of Nazareth. Les emphasizes that it took the grace of God to save that rebel, and God saved him by grace. This confession follows the faithful saying that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
