Do mundane everyday things count for God's glory?

Yes. Scripture teaches that whether you eat, drink, or whatever you do, all should be done for the glory of God. Everyday ordinary experiences, if done as unto the Lord and for His glory, count, because God views them that way.

Les explains that this principle carries into every aspect of life, not just meat offered to idols. Anything that causes a weaker believer to stumble should be set aside. The crux is verse 31: whether you eat, drink, or whatsoever you do, do it all for the glory of God. That is the only reason believers are left here—to bring glory to His Name. Even in the mundane things people think do not really count, they do. In ordinary, mundane, everyday experiences, if they are done as unto the Lord and for His glory, that is the way God sees it. Verse 32 adds the admonition to give no offense to the Jew, the Gentile, or the house of God.

1 Corinthians 10:31

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
