How is the Bible a progressive revelation from Genesis through the whole Scripture?

The Bible is a progressive revelation because, from Genesis through the whole Scripture, it constantly reveals things that were not revealed earlier but now are. It begins simply and advances toward deeper spiritual truth. Paul's letters follow the same pattern, moving from simple beginnings to deep spiritual things the carnal believer cannot comprehend.

Les teaches that Paul's writings are a progressive revelation in themselves, just like the Bible is on the whole. He explains that coming from Genesis all the way up through the Scripture shows a constant progressive revelation of things that were not revealed back there but now are. Paul's letters work the same way: he works from a simple beginning, comes on up, and finally ends with deep spiritual things that the carnal believer cannot comprehend. Les also notes the difference between the Jew and the Gentile, and those Jews and Gentiles who were members of the Body of Christ, along with Paul's concern that many may be saved.
