What did Pharaoh say to Moses when he told him never to return?

Pharaoh told Moses never to come back and see him, saying, "I'll never see your face again." Moses responded, "You've spoken well," noting Pharaoh did not know how close to the truth he was. This occurred before God gave Israel Passover instructions in Exodus 12.

Les explains that after the plagues in Egypt and Israel's suffering under slavery, Pharaoh finally told Moses never to come back and see him. Pharaoh declared, "I'll never see your face again." Moses responded, "You've spoken well," and told Pharaoh he did not know how close to the truth he was. Les then connects this to Exodus 12, where God gives Moses and Israel the Passover instructions—taking an unblemished male lamb from the sheep or goats, keeping it until the fourteenth day, so all Israel would have a Passover lamb at their disposal. This marks the transition from judgment on Egypt to redemption for Israel.
