What is the Law an administration of?

The Law is an administration of death. Believers are delivered from it, having been held under it, so they may now serve in newness of spirit rather than the oldness of the letter. This deliverance comes by believing the Gospel, not by legalism or fleshly effort.

Les teaches that the Law was an administration of death, and that we are delivered from the Law that being dead wherein we were held. The purpose now is that believers should serve in newness of spirit, not in the oldness of the letter. This transformation is spiritual, not legalistic. The Galatians were tempted to move into a deeper spiritual life by the flesh, which wants legalism and Law, part of the old Adamic nature. But Paul's Gospel is faith plus nothing; we enter by believing the Gospel.

Romans 7:6

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
