How long was it from the Flood to the Tower of Babel?
According to the biblical timeline presented, there were about 200 years between the Flood and the Tower of Babel. After Noah and his three sons came out of the ark, a new generation of people gathered at Babel, and this period is identified as roughly two centuries.
Les teaches that the Flood occurred around 2,400 B.C., and from Adam's creation to the Flood was 1,600 years. He explains there was another 200 years between the Flood—when Noah and his three sons came out—and the time the new generation of people came together at the Tower of Babel. After Babel, God called Abram out of Ur and established the Abrahamic covenant.
