How many years were between the Flood and the Tower of Babel?

The interval from the Flood to the Tower of Babel was 200 years. The Flood occurred about 2,400 B.C., and 200 years later the descendants of Noah's three sons assembled at the Tower of Babel, marking the next major turning point in the biblical timeline.

Les teaches that the Flood was about 2,400 B.C., 1,600 years from the creation of Adam. He then points out another 200 years elapsed from the Flood—when Noah and his three sons came out—until the whole new generation of people gathered at the Tower of Babel. After that, God did something totally different, calling out Abram from Ur in Babylon and making the Abrahamic covenant, promising that out of Abram would come a nation through which God would consummate His plan of redemption.
