Why do young people have a wrong attitude toward marriage?

Young people have a wrong attitude toward marriage because they have not been taught what God says about the marriage relationship. Society as a whole, and especially the Christian community, must understand how God looks at these things and go by what God says, not what society or denominations think.

Les explains that the problem with our whole attitude towards marriage among young people is that they have not been taught what God says about this marriage relationship. He emphasizes that society as a whole, and especially the Christian community, must understand how God looks at these things, and that is what we have to go by—not what society thinks or what our denomination thinks, but what God says. He also notes that even though people may be guilty of adultery by remarriage and so forth, every sin is forgivable, and there is nothing the Lord will not forgive. The text then turns to verse 10, where the command is given that a wife should not depart from her husband, and if she departs, she should remain unmarried or be reconciled; likewise, a husband should not put away his wife. It also says that if a brother has an unbelieving wife who is pleased to dwell with him, he should not put her away, and if a woman has an unbelieving husband who is pleased to dwell with her, she should not leave him but stay with him.
