Why do we get hungry every day according to the Bible?

According to 1 Corinthians 6:13, hunger occurs because our present bodies are temporal; God designed the stomach and food for each other. The stomach rumbles and we get hungry, and that's the way God intended it. This daily need will end when we receive our resurrected bodies.

Les explains that 1 Corinthians 6:13 brings out a physical aspect of everyday life: meat for the belly, or food for the stomach, and the stomach for food. He notes we can hardly go a day without food; the stomach begins to rumble, roll, and roar, and we get hungry, and that's the way God intended it. But this is part of our temporal existence. The day is coming when that won't be true. When we get our new resurrected body, we won't have to eat three meals a day. The body won't demand it day after day. Les thinks the Lord will still give the pleasure of eating, since He ate fish and bread at the Sea of Galilee, but it won't be a necessity. So hunger is a temporal design for this life, not for the eternal state.
