Does the unbelieving world have the same wisdom God gives believers?

No. The unbelieving world has none of the wisdom God imparted to every believer. God gives believers wisdom simply by virtue of salvation, making them unique. They have more common sense than the greatest educated philosopher, possessing a wisdom the world does not have.

Les explains that the world out there has none of the wisdom God has imparted to every believer. Believers are unique in that regard because God imparts wisdom to them simply by virtue of being saved. In fact, they have more common horse sense than the greatest educated philosopher. Paul drives this home: believers have a wisdom the world does not have, so they should use it. This connects to his point that saints will one day judge the world and rule and reign with Christ, so they should practice settling matters within the local church now.
