Are church leaders less prone to fall into sin than other believers?

No. Church leaders are not less prone to fall into sin than other believers. Scripture warns that those restoring others must act meekly lest church leaders be taken in just as great a sin. Every human being is just as prone to fall as the next one, though spiritual teaching and keeping may help prevent it.

Les teaches from Galatians 6:1 that if a man is taken in a fall, those who are spiritual are to restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, lest even church leaders be taken in just as great a sin. He stresses that we are all human, and every human being is just as prone to fall into sin as the next one. Hopefully, if we are spiritually taught and spiritually kept, these things won't happen, but they can; it can happen to anybody. Les then connects this to John's discussion of sins not unto death and the sin unto death, where God may take a believer home if they refuse to come away from a sinful lifestyle and keep bringing reproach to His name. No believer or church body, he says, has the right to pray for the death of an erring believer; that is in God's hands.
