What was Paul constantly besieged with?

The care of Christianity constantly besieged him—the mental and spiritual pressure of all the churches and believers. Beyond physical perils, hunger, thirst, cold, and nakedness, he daily carried concern for the churches, as Corinthians and Galatians brought problems and legalism.

Les teaches that Paul was not only opposed by Jew and Gentile or troubled by outward perils, weariness, painfulness, hunger, thirst, fasting, cold, and nakedness. On top of that physical suffering came daily mental and spiritual pressure: the care of all the churches and believers. Letters from the Corinthians raised problems, and the Galatians were going back into legalism, so Paul hurriedly wrote to them. Over and over he was besieged with the care of Christianity as it began spreading through the Roman Empire.
