Les Feldick Bible Study

What happens to the people we have touched in this life after we die?

After death, those we have touched continue on in some way, carrying forward the influence we had on them; we do not know what they will accomplish. Their ongoing impact remains unknown until the Lord, the righteous judge, reveals it.

Les teaches that if the Lord tarries and we pass through the valley of death, every person we have touched in this life will still carry on in some way or another, and we do not know what they will accomplish. He points to his own experience: people who were instrumental in his early Christian life are long gone, but the result of what they did still carries on. The same is true for the lost person; from his lostness he makes an impact, and he reaps rewards of people following in his footsteps. Les emphasizes we are responsible only to the Lord until He comes, when He will bring to light hidden things, make manifest the counsels of the hearts, and every man will have praise of God.

1 Corinthians 4:5

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.
