What happened when Solomon dedicated the temple in Jerusalem?

When Solomon's temple in Jerusalem was completed and dedicated, the presence of God in the Shekinah glory came down into that temple, and God's presence dwelt there. This was a foreview of the age of grace, when the Holy Spirit immediately indwells every believer.

Les teaches that when Solomon built the temple in Jerusalem as the dwelling place of God, and when the temple was complete and dedicated, the presence of God in the Shekinah glory came right down into that temple. God's presence dwelt in that dwelling place. Les explains this was just a foreview of the age of grace. In this age, when God saves an individual, that person immediately becomes a temple, a dwelling place, and just like the Shekinah glory came into Solomon's temple in Jerusalem, the Holy Spirit comes into us. The context also states that every believer is indwelt by the Spirit the moment he believes, making the body the temple of the indwelling Holy Spirit.
