What will Jesus ask Christians when they stand before His throne?
When Christians stand before the Lord's throne, He will not ask whether they were obedient to their church or denomination. Instead, He will ask whether they have been obedient to the Word. That obedience to the Word is what will count for eternity.
Les explains that someday when a person stands before the Lord's throne—whichever one it is—the Lord will not ask about obedience to a church or denomination. The question will be, “Have you been obedient to the Word?” Les says that is what counts for eternity, and it is why he keeps asking, “What does the book say?” He emphasizes that he does not teach what his denomination says or what someone else says, but seeks to discern what the Word itself says.
