What did Jesus say is the sign of His coming and the end of the age in Matthew 24?

Jesus did not point to globalism or the Antichrist as the sign. Instead, He warned, “Don’t be deceived.” That warning implies mass deception will mark the closing days, as deceivers use the Word of God deceptively. The sign of His coming and the end of the age is deception.

Les explains that when the twelve disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24, “What is the sign of your coming in the end of the age?” He did not answer, “Look for globalism, and look for the Antichrist.” Instead Jesus said, “Don’t be deceived.” Les teaches that this warning necessarily implies what will come on the world in the closing days: mass deception. People will use the Word of God, but they will be deceptive as they use it, and this deception is already visible on every hand. The little book of Jude was written to prepare believers not to be deceived by all this good-sounding stuff, because it can sound very good—as illustrated by a man who was gradually drawn into the New Age movement before the Lord opened his eyes and saved him.
