Why does Les decry today's education system?
Today's education system is decried because it graduates students from high school and even college who cannot read, write, fill out employment forms, or write checks. Students are not taught even the rudimentary things of the secular world and therefore cannot function in it.
Les teaches that the education system is decried because it brings kids out of high school and even college who can't read or write. They can't fill out an employment form, they can't write a check. They haven't been taught the rudimentary things of the secular world, so they can't function. He then brings it into the spiritual realm, saying it is no different. This is what Paul deals with in 1 Corinthians 3, where he could not speak to the Corinthians as spiritual but as carnal, because they had not gone into the deep things.
