Les Feldick Bible Study

Are the sins God forbade in Leviticus still wicked today?

Yes. The sins God forbade Israel in Leviticus remain wicked today because God has not changed. The same wicked acts are just as wicked now as they were then. However, they are no longer under the same legal context that governed Israel under the law.

Les teaches that if you go back into Leviticus, you can quickly find all the things God forbade Israel to do. He emphasizes that God has not changed: those same wicked sins are just as wicked today as they were back then, though they are no longer in the same legal context. He also warns that Christianity today often fails by no longer showing hatred for evil; instead, people roll with it, condone it, and say nothing can be done. Believers are never to stop abhorring evil and must cleave to what is good. Les further describes the present time as one in which western civilization, perhaps the whole world, is being brainwashed into calling black white and evil good, a satanic ploy and part of an end-time conspiracy preparing the world for the Antichrist.
