Les Feldick Bible Study

Why doesn't Les point out specific sins from the pulpit?

He does not point out specific sins because he teaches the Book, trusting that people will soon see what God calls evil for themselves. Scripture, such as Leviticus, reveals God's standards, so naming sins isn't necessary. He focuses on abhorring evil and cleaving to good rather than listing particular sins.

Les explains that he has never been one to point out specific sins from the pulpit because he believes that if he teaches the Book and gets people into the Book, they will soon see for themselves what God calls evil. He points to Leviticus as an example, where God forbade Israel many things, and notes that God has not changed—those same wicked sins are just as wicked today, though not in the same legal context. He stresses that Christianity today often fails to show hatred for evil and instead condones it, but believers are to abhor evil and cleave to good. He also warns that Western civilization and the world are being brainwashed to call evil good and good evil, which he calls a ploy of Satan and part of an end-time conspiracy preparing the world for the Antichrist.
