What are the qualifications to be raptured?

The qualifications for the rapture are simply believing that Jesus died and rose again. This is all you need to be in that great company that one day soon will be called out of here. The passage identifies this as the qualifications for the rapture.

Les teaches that the rapture is part of the mystery revealed to the apostle Paul, now no longer a secret. In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul writes that not all will sleep but all will be changed. Then in 1 Thessalonians 4:13, Paul addresses believers who have died, urging that we sorrow not as others who have no hope. Les calls this the qualifications for the rapture: if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, that is all we need to be in the great company called out. He also shares an example of a highly educated man who struggled to believe the resurrection but could accept the rest.

1 Thessalonians 4:13

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

1 Thessalonians 4:14

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
