What has God poured out on the Gentile world?
God has poured out the program of reconciliation upon the Gentile world. According to Paul, this reconciliation, great as it has been, is nothing compared to what will happen to Israel when God returns and fulfills His promises to them, bringing life from the dead.
Les explains that Paul in verse 15 is referring to the program of reconciliation poured out on the Gentile world. As great as that reconciliation has been, it is nothing compared to what is going to happen to Israel when God comes back and fulfills His promises with them. The result is described as life from the dead. When Israel is out among the nations, they are dead and not a viable entity, but they are coming back. This is why the small nation of Israel is constantly in the news, which is miraculous because they are God's people, and He is getting them ready for His soon return.
For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
