Who shall be blessed through Abraham according to Genesis 12:3?
According to Genesis 12:3, all the families of the earth shall be blessed through Abraham, not just Israel. God promised Abraham that He would bless those who bless him and curse those who curse him, and that in Abraham all families of the earth would be blessed.
Les teaches that this promise in Genesis 12:3 has never been abrogated, that God has never taken it away, and that Paul never refuted it. The promise states, “I will bless them that bless thee,” and “I will curse him that curseth thee,” and “in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Les emphasizes that this blessing is not limited to Israel but extends to all the families of the earth. The nation of Israel itself came through Abraham, and ever since this promise was given until Paul went to the Gentiles, Israel enjoyed the fatness of the root of Abraham. The Gentiles, pictured as an old no-good olive tree, have been grafted into the beautiful original, which was Israel.
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
