Who is blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith?
Those who have entered a right relationship with God by faith alone—believers, not law-workers—are blessed together with Abraham, the man of faith. This blessing rests on faith plus nothing, not on works of the law, and makes them friends of God rather than enemies.
Les explains that those who come into a right relationship with God the faith way plus nothing are blessed with Abraham, the man of faith. Abraham was the friend of God, and believers are likewise the friends of God; they are no longer enemies because of their faith in what God has said, especially what He accomplished in the work of the cross. This blessing is by faith, not by the works of the law, which are under the curse.
