Why did God make salvation so simple to be believed?

God intended salvation to be simple so that no one, Jew or Gentile, could say they couldn't measure up, reach, or attain it. It is a Gospel that merely has to be believed, without work, religion, ritual, or priesthood, available free to everyone and anyone.

Les explains that because Israel rejected her King, Messiah, and Redeemer, God turned to the Gentiles with a program of grace unheard of. Beyond human comprehension, God used the Roman cross to bring a Gospel sent to Gentiles free for nothing—without work, religion, ritual, or priesthood. It is a Gospel that merely has to be believed. Most people can't comprehend it because it's too simple, but this is how God intended it, so that no one, Jew or Gentile, could ever say they couldn't measure up, reach, or attain it. No one can say that. It's out there for everyone and anyone, because Israel fell.
