Will Israel still receive the covenant promises and an earthly kingdom?
Yes. God has not cast aside His people Israel; though set aside for over 1900 years while Gentiles are saved and Jews only as a remnant, the day is coming when God will finish His dealing with Israel. They will still enjoy all the covenant promises and a glorious earthly kingdom, and all earthly promises will come to fruition.
Les explains that God has not cast aside His people Israel; they are still in God's program. For the last 1900 and plus years Israel has been set aside, and God has turned to the Gentiles. A few Jews can be saved and are being saved, but only as a remnant, and God has always kept His remnant. Yet the day is coming, at the end of chapter 11, when God will come back and finish His dealing with Israel. They are still going to enjoy all those covenant promises and a glorious earthly kingdom, and all the earthly promises God gave the nation will yet come to fruition. Les therefore warns not to subscribe to the idea that God is through with the Jew. Israel is presently out there in unbelief, and its government in Jerusalem is no more spiritual than the governments in Washington or Bonn; they are all secular and under Satan, the god of this world. But God still has His eye on them as His covenant people.
