Has God rejected Israel or cast them aside?
No. God has not cast aside His people Israel; they remain in His program. They have been temporarily set aside while He turns to the Gentiles, but He has always kept a remnant. A future day is coming when God will finish His dealings with Israel and fulfill all covenant and earthly promises.
Les teaches that God has not cast aside His people Israel; they are still in God's program. They have been set aside for the last 1900 and plus years while He turned to the Gentiles, and only a remnant of Jews is being saved. Yet God has always kept His remnant. Les explains that the day is coming, at the end of chapter 11, when God will come back and finish His dealing with Israel. They will still enjoy all the covenant promises and a glorious earthly kingdom, and all the earthly promises God has given the nation will yet come to fruition. He warns not to subscribe to the idea that God is through with the Jew. Though Israel is currently in unbelief and secular, under the god of this world, Satan, God still has His eye on them as His covenant people.
I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
