What happens to the Old Testament prophecies and promises if God is done with Israel?
If God were done with Israel, the Old Testament prophecies and promises would fall through the cracks, because He would no longer be dealing with them. That premise, held by much of Christendom, cannot stand, because it would require tearing Romans chapter 11 and other Scriptures out of the Bible.
Les explains in Romans chapter 11 that this contradicts what much of Christendom assumes—that when Israel cried for Christ's crucifixion, God turned His back on the Jew and was through with them. On that premise, all the Old Testament prophecies and promises fell through the cracks because God is no longer dealing with them. But Les says if they take that approach, they must take at least Romans chapter 11, besides a lot of others, tear it out, and throw it away.
