What did Isaiah boldly say about God being found by those who did not seek Him?

Isaiah boldly declared that God was found by those who did not seek Him, saying, “I was found of them that sought me not.” This shows that God made Himself known even to people not actively seeking Him, which fits the pattern that in the Old Testament God dealt with Israel, with some exceptions.

Les teaches that Isaiah, the Old Testament prophet, was very bold when he said, “I was found of them that sought me not.” He reminds us not to lose sight of basic fundamental truths and ties this to his timeline: in the Old Testament it was Jew only, with a few exceptions. Paul confirms that in Ephesians chapter 2, beginning at verse 11. Paul writes to Gentiles at Ephesus, telling them that in times past they were Gentiles in the flesh, called uncircumcision by the circumcision, and that at that time—the Old Testament economy—God was dealing only with the Jew. So Isaiah’s bold statement highlights God being found by those who were not seeking Him.

Romans 10:20

But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.
