Does God reward those who diligently seek Him?
Yes. Scripture states that He has rewarded them that diligently seek Him. Yet this reward is connected to faith, for without faith it is impossible. Salvation must believe, and faith is believing. So God rewards those who diligently seek Him by faith.
Les teaches that Hebrews 11:6 presents an unalterable attribute that must be faced head-on and cannot be compromised: without faith it is impossible, and God has rewarded them that diligently seek Him. He stresses that faith is believing, and salvation must believe. Les also points to the work of the cross—that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again—which Paul constantly reminds us of.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
