Les Feldick Bible Study

How does Les describe the God of the universe?

The God of the universe is described as the sovereign, total God, the same God of Genesis 1:1 who created all things and was designated Creator, Jesus Christ. This same God died the death we should have died, rose from the dead, and extended eternal life.

Les explains from Ephesians 3:9 that the mystery was hid in God, the same God of Genesis 1:1 who created all things, yet was designated the Creator, Jesus Christ. He stresses that the created beings who nailed Christ to the cross were crucifying their own Creator, a point he says shook a class he taught in Iowa. He then applies it to salvation: the sovereign, total God of the universe is the same God who died the death we should have died, rose from the dead, and extended eternal life, and that cannot be separated from Him.
