Why are most Jewish people today not coming to salvation?
Most Jewish people today are not coming to salvation because they are blinded and cannot see that the One their forefathers crucified is the One they must come to for salvation. God has not closed the door on them; it remains open, but only a few respond.
Les explains that in this age of grace, God is primarily calling out Gentiles, but a few Jews. Not many, but it is open to them. So God has not closed the door on the Jew, but it is just that most of them are so blinded that they cannot see that the One whom their forefathers crucified is the One to whom they have to come for salvation even today. Les notes that whereas it was formerly Jews only with a few Gentiles, now it is primarily Gentiles and a few Jews. Yet there is now in this age of grace no difference, for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.
